My journey into financial planning began with adversity at age thirteen, losing my father and seeing my mother struggle to raise 10 children, including myself, the youngest. Their teachings on hard work, integrity, and respect shaped my path.

Now, with 25 years in the industry, I lead my own RIA Firm. I'm passionate about empowering individuals and families with personalized financial strategies for stability and success.

Patricia is a mother, grandmother, daughter, and trusted advisor specializing in annuities, life insurance, Medicare supplement options, and tax planning strategies. With over 20 years of experience in life and health insurance, she has dedicated her career to helping families protect themselves from unforeseen and potentially devastating financial losses that can occur due to the loss of a family member. For many clients, Patricia offers a suite of products to assist with estate and tax planning. She also guides clients through the Medicare process, from "aging in" at 65 to navigating the complex Medicare supplement options, and evaluates if annuity products are a good fit for their financial plans.

In addition to her insurance expertise, Patricia has 15 years of experience in tax preparation and ownership of McDonald Financial Group tax office, where she has helped clients with tax planning strategies. She serves as the Client Relations Manager and Office manager for MFG Capital Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm owned and operated by her husband of 28 years, David W. McDonald.

A lifelong resident of the Downriver community, Patricia has raised their four children in Trenton. She loves her job because she believes in making a difference in her clients' lives by planning and finding the right solutions for their families, providing them with peace of mind. In a complicated and fast-paced world, Patricia emphasizes the importance of working with a professional to help guide and plan for the future, ensuring clients are well-prepared for whatever life may bring.

Patricia has been very active in her community with fund raising, feeding those in need offering assistance when ever she can. Patricia has been active in school and church programs through the years, her community and giving back is and has always been very important to her.
